Electus – I Wanted You – Single

Electus - I WANTED YOU - Single Cover Art

I Wanted You is now available for digital download on GooglePlay.  This is taken from the album Rock & Roll Incarnate Part One which was released in April 2017.

ELECTUS can be accredited to Rhythm Guitarist/Vocalist Russell Peake in early 2008 when he knew that it was time to form a group that would satisfy his hunger & passion for Hard Rock Music.

As the music progressed concentrating on song writing from 2003 & from the initial acoustic recordings & occasional touring the song list grew, the line-up expanded to welcome Dan Smith in 2014 on Bass. 2015 the band welcomed Mick Hales on the Drums & Pete Checkley on Lead Guitar! With a line-up complete ELECTUS wasted no time learning the material and launching onto the UK gigging circuit.

This is a funky groove laden track that will get your body moving or certainly your toes tapping and head nodding.  This is a track about a new relationship, good or bad and the passion and excitement in the build up to it beginning.  Filled with deep, resonant bass lines, thumping drums and piercing riffs that deepen the vibrancy of the track.  Building up to the chorus which has a good, catchy tune, this is a track that demands to be heard played live and you will have the opportunity as they are out touring.

I have had this on repeat as it has much to make you smile and is well worth a listen.  I think they would sound great on the radio or live, where I can imagine the emotion and intensity really pack a punch.
